Peter Christensen
Health Center

Peter Christensen Health Center’s Diabetes Services program works to optimize the health and quality of life for our patients diagnosed with, affected by, or at risk for diabetes and chronic conditions through education and support. We also utilize some of the latest technologies for monitoring and tracking sugar levels, and insulin delivery devices.

Our program is accredited by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, which ensures excellence in the delivery of services by meeting vigorous criteria set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services .

Our professional staff work collaboratively with the patient and members of their healthcare team to develop the skills needed the address the daily challenges of diabetes, and reduce the risks for complications.

We utilize research, guidelines and practice recommendations from the American Diabetes Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and American Dietetic Association, while always keeping the patient in the forefront, as the most  important member of the team.
